About Me

Hi, I’m Miss Roche, 48 years old, a nurse by profession, a mother, an entrepreneur, an educator. My dream is to be a life coach. I am very passionate about helping people take charge of their health and wellbeing to live happier and healthier. I want them to empower their health by taking ownership of themselves through caring holistically, the mind, body and soul.

Why I Launched This Website

As I just mentioned above, as a nurse I deserve to love what I do. Our healthcare system is in desperate need of a radical change due to technological innovation.

So I figured I’d launch this website to help share information about holistic lifestyles to promote health and wellbeing with others (including you!) to help other people get started to empower their own health and wellbeing & help them to potentially prevent chronic diseases and embrace a happy & healthy life.

You see, the truth is, while helping people achieve their wellness, I am reigniting my passion for nursing to be a transformative nurse coach.

What is a Holistic lifestyle?

A holistic lifestyle is a way of living that nurtures different aspects of a person as a whole- mind, body and soul. It includes some changes in daily routines that will significantly promote health and wellbeing.

According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, Holistic, is derived from the word holism, from the Greek word “holos meaning a “whole”. It was coined by a South African soldier, Jan Christian Smuts, in 1920, a student of natural science. He used this term to describe his complex philosophy of organization of nature.

As a complex human being, there are many factors affecting our health and wellbeing. Nutrition, habits, personal beliefs and preferences, activity choices, attitudes and relationships. A holistic lifestyle aims to address all these aspects in a complex approach. The purpose of adopting a holistic lifestyle is to stay fit, comfortable, happy and vital. As a unique individual, some of the tips and methods will work for you, the same may not work for the other person. It is up to you to embrace yourself and figure out what are the best tips which work for you.

How I Aim To Help You

I want to go beyond the quick fix and elevate every element of peoples lifestyle-nutrition, sleep, exercise, mindfulness, relationship and more.

And that’s where I come into play.

I’ve set this website up to provide helpful information & tips to help you to not only get started with promoting your healthy lifestyle, but to also become an ambassador of empowering health of your family, friends and the community as well.

I’ll also be providing comments/questions and coaching to most of my students/learners, anyone needing help in the future.
